This study employs a narrative-reflective approach to analyze the impact of emotional wounds and domestic violence on mental health, including trauma and anxiety. The primary focus is on the emotional journey of the main character, Tari, towards recovery after joining the Life Mates support community, which functions as a safe, open, and inspiring space that facilitates a collective healing process. Theologically, this paper reflects on the calling of Christian communities to embody the body of Christ, embracing and serving wounded young people. Drawing upon the thoughts of theologians such as Catherine Doherty and Ed Loring, Jürgen Moltmann, and Roy Hession, this article emphasizes the urgency of building an inclusive and supportive church community. Therefore, the author encourages the church to develop support groups and a non-judgmental culture to address the mental and spiritual struggles of young people.
2024-12-27T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 Jurnal Pelayanan Kaum Muda
