Pemulihan Spiritualitas Remaja Kristen yang Mengalami Perceraian Orang Tua
Abstract
Spirituality is a source of motivation and emotion, shaping an individual's perception of God. This aspect is essential but often overlooked in the pastoral care of adolescents experiencing parental divorce. A healthy spiritual experience is supported by a proper understanding of God, and a well-formed spirituality is reflected in an adolescent's life responses. This study aims to explore the condition of adolescents affected by parental divorce and formulate pastoral care strategies for their spiritual recovery. A qualitative descriptive method was used, involving interviews with five adolescents aged 12–18 who have experienced parental divorce. Based on the findings, this study proposes four stages of pastoral care: healing, guiding, sustaining, and reconciling. This approach is expected to help adolescents rediscover a healthy understanding of God, restore their spirituality, and support their journey toward a better life.
