Pendekatan Pemuridan Brian Cosby sebagai Jawaban atas Permasalahan Kepergian Generasi Muda dari Gereja
Abstract
Rapid changes in culture, science, and technology influence the dynamics of societies worldwide, including church communities. These shifts have resulted in the departure of young people from the church. While churches have undertaken various efforts to address this issue, these attempts have yet to effectively curb this exodus. This paper aims to examine the root causes triggering the disengagement of young people and analyze how Brian Cosby's "Means of Grace" discipleship approach can offer a solution. Using a literature study method, this analysis highlights how the problems of access, alienation, and authority—which contribute to young people leaving the church—can be overcome. The research findings indicate that adequate discipleship through community and the ministry of the Word, as "Means of Grace," can effectively shape the faith of young people.
